Together with designer Carina Seth Andersson, Malmö Porslin has created an exciting and different series in porcelain and glass by Carina called "Pi". The series in porcelain consists of 11 parts in high-quality porcelain produced in the Czech Republic as well as two glass vases mouth-blown in Sweden at Skruf's glass factory.
Carina Seth Andersson, CSA, is a Swedish designer known for her distinctive, functional works in glass and ceramics. Her method is to scale down, finding the balance between simplicity and meaningful form creating timeless products.
The name of the company is reused from Malmö Porslinsfabrik, which was once located on Porslinsgatan in Malmö. Both simple household goods and beautiful tableware were produced there - products that can still be seen in Malmö Museum's collections.
Behind Malmö Porslin are five people with long and solid experience from the world of furniture and design.
