Furniture from leftover bricks
Sunny days ahead is a wish for better days and what we can do while longing for them. As a young designer working with tight time frames and small budgets. Using local, sustainable materials and maintaining the joy and desire to explore through a design process.
During the spring, the designer showed the process from material research to finished furniture by moving in to a glass container in Folkets Park, Malmö. The container was filled with bricks and the possibilities and limitations of the material were tested by the designer on site.
The furniture are displayed during Southern Sweden Design Days as part of the outdoor seating at restaurant BISe.
